Would you be wise to lose body fat?

Talk with your physician.  In terms of your health, it's likely to be a good idea.

Al Sears, M.D., wrote P.A.C.E., which is the best book on fitness I know.  According to him, "Men should have 10 to 20% body fat and women should have 15 to 25% body fat."
